Have you ever been in the middle of a Find and Replace where you’re replacing words one by one and then the Find and Replace dialog jumps a bit and you accidentally hit the ‘Replace All’ button?  There’s an easy way to avoid this happening by docking your Find and Replace dialog with your other dialogs such as the Solution Explorer.

First thing to do is right-click on the title bar of the dialog and change the selection from ‘Floating’ to ‘Dockable’.

Now just move it to the location where you want it to dock
